Our Accident and Emergency Department is responsible for offering ambulance services, patient reception and triage. The department deals with receiving urgent cases from the hospital’s catchment area, as well as other patients outside the area. At the hospital, the department performs triage activities, all built on the severity of their illness, as well as medication administration based on medical prescriptions recommended by the doctors. Patients are treated within the department and get the right assessment and follow up before being dispatched to other departments for further treatment. Within the department, all nursing activities are rightly provided on time.
