Our pharmacy department is responsible for drug storage, supply services, medical consumables, surgical consumables, dispensing services and ARV supply services

It is the health care service comprising of the art, practice, and profession of choosing, preparing, storing, compounding, and dispensing medicines and medical devices, advising patients, doctors, nurses and other health care professionals on their safe, effective and efficient use. A range of services is available in our Pharmacy, including making drugs available, devices, and other materials used in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases, injuries, and illnesses. It is also responsible for providing medicines, information and advice to inpatients and outpatients, as well as all the health professionals and others giving health care to the patients.  It also has to deal with establishing safe systems for storage and supply of medicines and quality assurance of medicines provided to the patients. Other than the above, our pharmacy department is responsible of reducing medication errors and medication related risk to patients, as well as providing medicines information services to the entire hospital.
