Our social service departments is responsible for all the social work activities, the identification of social cases, research assistance to destitute, health education to patients and their family members present as well as helping patients return to families. The department commonly provides individual, couple, group and family counselling, crisis intervention, conduct patient or family education, resource referral and advocacy, in inpatient and outpatient settings. Our social service provides both psychosocial care and other services to the clients and the duplication of services is reduced. A mutually developed care plan for each patient/family is based on skillful psychosocial assessment.

A range of services are offered within our social services department, including the provision of social care and service to patients and families through assessment and counseling expertise, organizational skills and knowledge of systems and resources. The department also provides leadership in the development of a plan of care, which takes into consideration of the complex, psychological, social, environmental, and financial aspects of patient and family life situations. It also coordinates and manage together with treating hospital healthcare providers, family members and community the discharge or referral services to social cases.
